Reality is under attack. Our understanding of the world and of our relationship to it has become clouded by a warped sense of superiority to reason and tradition. We have been stripped of our intellects and inoculated against the truth. Under the banners of anti-intellectual secular rationalism and anti-institutional pseudo-Christianity, recent generations of naive tinkers have primarily convinced us of three things: Truth is no longer manifest outside the knower; Goodness is no longer inherent in the reality of which we partake; and Beauty, now subjective, no longer blesses the viewer with any real experience of God. As a result, we no longer recognize the spark of divinity in our fellow man, and we stand to lose our rational link to the transcendental.
Contra Gentiles aims to preserve, articulate, and expand the ideas necessary to both halt the ideological erosion of the last few centuries and help build a new intellectual foundation reflective of proper philosophical and theological tradition.
